A while ago I found a wonderful fairytale on the www and it was stuck in my mind so bad that I really had to style something around it. It is not meant to kinda tell the story but it was heavily inspired by it " class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> The Fairytale is one of the favourite ones from Czechoslovakia and was told in London round about 1966 if my research was correct " class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />

I am an addicted to old fairy tales myself and read a lot of them – maybe it is the child inside of me that always refused to fully grow up

So I am not claiming that novel for myself, but I would like to share it with you.

The Wood Fairy

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Betushka. She lived with her mother, a poor widow who had only a tumbledown cottage and two goats. But in spite of this poverty, Betushka was always merry.

From spring to autumn, Betushka drove the goats each day to pasture in a birch wood. Every morning her mother put a slice of bread and an empty spindle into her bag. The spindle would hold the flaxen thread she would spin while she watched the goats. She was too poor to own a distaff on which to wind the flax, so she wound it around her head, to carry it thus to the wood.

“Work hard, Betushka,” her mother always said, “and fill the spindle before you return home.”

Off skipped Betushka, singing along the way. She danced behind the goats into the wood of birch trees and sat down under a tree. With her left hand she pulled fibers from the flax around her head and with her right hand twirled her spindle so that it hummed over the ground. All the time she sang merrily and the goats nibbled the green grass among the trees.

When the sun showed that it was midday, Betushka stopped her spinning. She gave each of the goats a morsel of bread and picked a few strawberries to eat with what remained. After this, she sprang up and danced. The sun shone even more warmly and the birds sang yet more sweetly.

After her dance, Betushka began again to spin busily. At evening when she drove the goats home she was able to hand her mother a spindle full of flaxen thread.

One fine spring day, when Betushka was ready as usual to dance, suddenly there appeared before her a most beautiful maiden. Her white dress floated about her as thin as gossamer, her golden hair flowed to her waist, and a wreath of forest blossoms crowned her head. Betushka was struck silent.

The wood fairy smiled at her and in a sweet voice asked, “Betushka, do you like to dance?”

At this, Betushka lost her fear. “Oh! I could dance all the day long!”

“Come then, let us dance together. I will teach you.” She took Betushka and began to dance with her.

Round and round they circled, while sweet music sounded over their heads. The maiden had called upon the birds sitting in the birch trees to accompany them. Nightingales, larks, goldfinches, thrushes, and a clever mockingbird sang such sweet melodies that Betushka’s heart filled with delight. She quite forgot her goats and her spinning. On and on she danced, with feet never weary, until evening when the last rosy rays of sunset were disappearing. The music ceased and the maiden vanished as suddenly as she had come.

Betushka looked around. There was her spindle — only half filled with thread. Sadly she put it into her bag and drove the goats from the wood. She did not sing while going down the road this time, but reproached herself for forgetting her duty. She resolved that she would not do this again. When she reached home she was so quiet that her mother asked if she were ill.

“No, Mother, I am not ill.” But she did not tell her mother about the lovely maiden. She hid the half-filled spindle, promising herself to work twice as hard tomorrow to make up for today.

Early the next morning Betushka again drove the goats to pasture, singing merrily as usual. She entered the wood and began her spinning, intending to do twice her usual amount.

At noon Betushka picked a few strawberries, but she did not dance. To her goats she said, “Today, I dare not dance. Why don’t you dance, my little goats?”

“Come and dance with me,” called a voice. It was the beautiful maiden.

But this time Betushka was afraid, and she was also ashamed. She asked the maiden to leave her alone. “Before sunset, I must finish my spinning,” she said.

The maiden answered, “If you will dance with me, someone will help you finish your spinning.” With the birds singing beautifully as before, Betushka could not resist. She and the maiden began to dance, and again they danced till evening.

Now when Betushka looked at her nearly empty spindle, she burst into tears. But the maiden unwound the flax from Betushka’s head, twined it around a slender birch tree, seized the spindle, and began to spin. The spindle hummed over the ground and grew thick with thread. By the time the sun had dropped from sight, all the flax was spun. As the maiden handed the full spindle to Betushka, she said, “Wind it and grumble not. Remember, wind it and grumble not.” Then, suddenly, she disappeared.

Betushka, happy now, drove the goats home, singing as she went, and gave her mother the full spindle. Betushka’s mother, however, was not pleased with what Betushka had failed to do the day before and asked her about it. Betushka told her that she had danced, but she kept the maiden a secret.

The next day Betushka went still earlier to the birch wood. The goats grazed while she sang and spun, until at noon the beautiful maiden appeared and again seized Betushka by the waist to dance. While the birds sang for them, the two danced on and on, Betushka quite forgetting her spindle and the goats.

When the sun was setting, Betushka looked around. There was the half-filled spindle! But the maiden grasped Betushka’s bag, became invisible for a moment, then handed back the bag stuffed with something light. She ordered her not to look into it before reaching home, and with these words she disappeared.

Betushka started home, not daring to look into the bag. But halfway there she was unable to resist peeking, for the bag was so light she feared a trick. She looked into the bag, and began to weep. It was full of dry birch leaves! Angrily she tossed some of these out of the bag, but suddenly she stopped — she knew they would make good litter for the goats to sleep on.

Now she was almost afraid to go home. There her mother was awaiting her. “What kind of spindle did you bring me yesterday?” she asked. “I wound and wound, but the spindle remained full. ‘Some evil spirit has spun you,’ I grumbled, and at that instant the thread vanished from the spindle. Tell me what this means.”

Betushka then told her mother about the maiden and their dancing. “That was a wood fairy,” exclaimed her mother, alarmed. “The wood fairies dance at midday and at midnight. If you had been a little boy, you might not have escaped alive. But to little girls, the wood fairies often give rich presents.” Next, she added. “To think that you did not tell me. If I had not grumbled I might have had a room full of thread.”

Betushka then thought of her bag and wondered if there might not, after all, be something under those leaves. She lifted out the spindle and the unspun flax. “Look, Mother!” Her mother looked and clapped her hands. Under the spindle the birch leaves had turned to gold!

Betushka told her mother how the fairy had directed her not to look into the bag until she got home, but that she had not obeyed and had thrown out some of the leaves. “Tis fortunate you did not empty out the whole bagful,” said her mother.

The next morning Betushka and her mother went into the wood, to look carefully over the ground where Betushka had thrown out the dry leaves. Only fresh birch leaves lay there, but the gold that Betushka did bring home was enough for a farm with a garden and some cows. She wore beautiful dresses and no longer had to graze the goats. Nothing, however, gave her such delight as she had dancing with the wood fairy. Often she ran to the birch wood, hoping to see the beautiful maiden, but never again did the wood fairy appear.

A collaboration between designers is always exciting to me, as it brings out new and different sides of each of them or even pairs their best skills and abilities.

The last fact happened in my view on the latest collaboration of  GizzA & Glamisty.

Both designers have amazing skills when it comes to designing and texturing. The “Peony” outfit and heels show how incredible amazing such a collaboration can be. The outfit – made by GizzA – itself comes in several colors. Originally there is one color for top and pants but I decided to mix 2 of them together since I anyways have a weakness for black and red combinations

The top is a very summer looking top with a great leather texture. I the front you have high closed tight shape, which closes together right at the neck.  That leaves a very sexy back with much skin and only covered by 3 lines, that close around the front again, which hold the top in place

The pants do have an amazing, aerial floating back piece to them. The sheer part is perfectly rigged to the legs and will follow your legs with every step. The “Peony” pants are 3/4 pants (or sometimes called capri pants) and let enough room for the amazing “Peony” heels from Glamistry.

Glamistry is one of the most popular shoe designers these days. And if you take a look at their designs you will know why

I rarely saw shoes, that are so detailed and realistic, as the Glamistry ones. They always release up to date creations and offer an amazing color system for customers. Usually you buy one color but you are able to add more colors on your HUD by just buying another color. That means you do not buy another pair of shoes, you just add another color on your HUD. That is a very inventory friendly system to have a lot of colors for each shoe!

For the “Peony Heels”, Glamistry certainly made the perfect matching colors to the “Peony Outfit” from GizzA. You have the possibility to color several parts of the shoes in a different color. The shoes itself have 2 parts like you can see on the picture above, I colored them black and red. Then you are able as well to choose for metals, heels and sole, to make sure you have the best combination for your look. To me that makes those shoes very versatile and perfect for any kind of styling

The incredible tattoo was made by my favourite tattoo designer and friend, Julie Hastings. She made the “Charade” tatoo for the actual round of the Epiphany gacha event.

The cute hairstyle, together with the hat, comes from Ayashi and the amazing bracelet was made by Asteria for one of the past round of the Enchantment event, if I remember correctly.

Since I have an addiction to piercings as well and rarely can use them usually, I could not resist to add the little “Dark Queen Septum”

The cool walls you can see behind me, are from E.V.E. Studio. I used several copies and resized them to build a surrounding for my today’s pictures

The Afternoon of a Faun

These nymphs that I would perpetuate:

so clear

And light, their carnation, that it floats in the air

Faun, the illusion flees from the cold, blue eyes

Finally my summer holidays are here – YEAH! Yes, teachers desire vacation as much as students *grins*

6 weeks of mot getting up to early and living my true nature as a night owl again :p

It really does feel nice, if you actually can spend time and just roam around instead of just having 2 to 3 hours to create and work in SecondLife. First I started to unpack a lot of boxes, which came too short over the past few weeks because of the final exams at school and all the events that come for the end of year of school.  My first box already had something very cool in it… the new “Ride” outfit from [sys]. The whole outfit contains a bra, shirt, shorts and a wrapped shirt around your waist. There are different color combinations available but each one comes with a HUD to customize it a little more. You get 2 options per HUD for each part.

While I was opening all those boxes that got to me over the last couple of weeks I found one goodie after another, what means, there will be a lot of posts over the next few days o guess ;). Another amazing item, which perfectly matched the “Ride” outfit from [sys.], was the “Equals” tattoo from White Widow. That awesome art piece covers the arms all the way down with flowers in wonderful shadings. Now certainly I needed some cool glasses, which I found at Haysuriza – A place I really love to go if I need some cool, more urban casual looking glasses ;).

The totally awesome hair I am using, certainly comes from one of my favourite hair designers in SL… EMO-tions The “Bernadette” hair does have the perfect touch of smart, urban and casual as well as a lightly rebel look, that I love so much for my more private and urban looking looks And now for the jewelry… I know Pris will kill me again – like she always does if I am wearing something “old” that might be not any longer available – but old does not automatically mean bad in my opinion. Sometimes, designs, creations or items do never get old. The look and the skills used to handcrafted them can make them long time goodies. Certainly sometimes weird moving flexies from 2008 might appear old but as well if you take a look at the nowadays designers who use flexible prims again to mix them with new mesh creations… they change in their look and as well improved in their movements. Sometimes it has even a huge plus and adds some kind of uniqueness if you use some of your long time favorites, as they just might add the little extra on your look. Don’t get me wrong I am not saying keep all your old items… but sometimes a few are worth it

Saying that, my jewelry for today comes from YS&YS and has quite some years on it’s back in my inventory The “NEW Silver” set with a part flexible earing and the wonderful necklace just made the perfect addition for the look.

In the end I really do believe in a good mixture of new and older items to finalize a look. sometimes those old items even bring back some great memories to a show yu walked, a shooting you had or even from who you got them. With all our run on new releases, do not forget about some things, that might appear old on the first view.. on a second view they can quiet be nice *winks*

Sometimes playing with colors can be so much fun. If it is with designs and creations from designers you adore and respect highly it is even more fun

Today my main focus shall be on the amazing furniture and decor from 22769 and the awesome designs of Poulet Koenkamp from PurpleMoon.

The new “Wanda” outfit immediately caught my attention after I unpacked it. It is the exact perfect outfit for the hot days at the moment. With the short asymmetric skirt and the amazing ornamented top with these delicate cut outs that awesome outfit pushed me towards a more alternative, ethnic, hippy looking style. That as well brought me on the first idea… to add the “Nazca” hair feathers from Indyra

When I was looking more through all the goodies I got lately, I stumbled over an amazing tattoo from White Widow. I always adored Julie Hastings for her skills to make such delicate and filigree tattoos, which appear so sharp on all of the bodies, that you can see every tiny, little line and dot. The “Shallows” tattoo was originally designed for the Epiphany event but I am sure you can find this amazing gacha now at the White Widow main store The awesome glasses are made by Glamistry. They come with a huge HUD to customize many different parts of the glasses – plastic and metals.

The mega amazing jewelry as well was made by PurpleMoon. The “Imani” set is available at the actual round of Chapter 4. It comes with different color palette HUDs you can choose from. A well you can choose from different versions of the necklace and different combinations or even the full set. The set as well contains awesome earrings which I left out for this post because of the amazing “Loni” hair from Truth, that anyways covers the ears so you would not even see them. To not cover up the wonderful tattoo I needed some very special shoes. I wanted boots, but boots would have covered up too much. So I went with the “Botttlebrush” heels from Empire. With the thin laces they made the perfect compromise of boots and sandals I could find

For the scenery, I chose various items from 22769. I always adored Manuel and Paco, their genius ideas for all kind of furniture and as well their skills to create those detailed and so realistic looking designs. The super cute sofas are called “Beatle Chair” as the backside of them is made like those very popular cars (I will have another post showing them properly soon). The awesome wall flag, the neat, colored cupboard as well as the flowers and the lamp come from a new gacha machine, which is located at the actual round of the Gacha Garden and the very detailed shisha was part of a great beach set for Indie Teepee. Creating scenes with items from 22769 always is so much fun that I tend to overload the background as so many things would fit so perfect

Kunoichi s a modern term for a female ninja or practitioner of ninjutsu (ninpo).

The term is thought to derive from the names of characters that resemble the three strokes in the kanji character for woman (女 onna); said in the order they are written: ku (く) – no (ノ) – ichi (一). Early literary quotes include Enshū Senkuzuke Narabini Hyakuin (遠舟千句附并百韵^?) (1680) as well as Maekuzukeshū (前句付集^?) (1716), which specifically associates the word with the kanji 女 supporting the etymology. The “くノ一” writing requires the use of one character from each Japanese character set – first hiragana, then katakana, then kanji. While hiragana and kanji can exist in the same word, katakana generally cannot appear in conjunction with the others. There are exceptions to this, for example in “ゴミ箱” and “消しゴム”.

Female ninja are mentioned in Bansenshukai, a 17th-century Japanese book compiling the knowledge of the clans in the Iga and Kōga regions devoted to the training of ninja. According to this document, the primary function of female ninja was espionage, finding legitimate service positions in the households of enemies, to accumulate knowledge by gaining trust or overhearing conversations. One historically accepted example of this is Mochizuki Chiyome, the 16th century noblewoman with ninja roots who was tasked by the warlord Takeda Shingen with recruiting women to create a secret network of a few hundred female spies.

Sometimes if you just put on one item, you immediately get an idea what you want to do with it… I am sure all of you had that happen at least once. Something like this happened to me when I put on the “Isis” collar and skirt from [sys].

When I put it on, I immediately had the vision of a ninja/asian inspired look. I remembered the awesome “Mei” hair from EMO-tions – that was sold on the south-asia inspired round of On9 – which I decorated with the cool “Albedo Horns” from Ayashi.

To cover my chest, since the feathers of “Isis” collar did not reach down far enough, I used the “Tigress Top” from Apple May Design. As it is a mesh body applier it fit perfectly under the feathers. Certainly a tattoo cannot miss when I style something like this :p This time I wanted something special and so the silver “Genius” tattoo from White Widow was the perfect match. I never made a secret out of it, that White Widow is my favourite tattoo brand… did I? *grins*

I thought a little bit until I got the idea… but certainly a warrior needs some armor At least some that looks great for the pictures*giggles*

[LAB737] makes the most amazing armor parts I ever saw. So detailed and as well used looking makes them very realistic and I could not resist to add parts of the “Dragoon” armor to my left arm.

Now the most complicated to get good pictures – I needed a good Katana and as well cool poses which did not just look like fighting. Certainly I could have sat hours and hours and make me some but then… still the good Katana would be missing since I just had som super old prim ones who kinda looked disgusting for nowadays standard. So I did what I usually do when I am looking for something special… I went to SL Marketplace

I found a very little store, with just a few items for sale on MP and instantly fell in love with the “Katana Pose Collection”. A whole set with many variations of 10 different poses and 2 amazing handcrafted Katanas. Even more I was surprised that they were made for a female warrior, so exactly what I wanted. The poses do look more show or performance like than, fighting itself and so they were the perfect animations for the pictures.

First I tried to build me a photo set, but soon I realized – I do not have the right items nor the knowledge of buildings and sceneries, that would suit the ideas and satisfy the styling. I jumped into the SL search and looked for places with key words like: japanese, warrior, ninja, katana and many more until I found “Kowloon”, a little island, which was empty when I arrived but the buildings and the garden was incredible beautiful. While I was shooting, the sim filled up more and more, but I did not see anyone around me and I became curious. I started to cam around, to spy silently, when I found an arena with a hell of a lot people who had begun a fight. I was so excited to see that, to see them fighting with Katanas and all kind of asian weapons, that I stopped shooting for a bit and just watched without disturbing them. I had so much fun watching them, that I nearly forgot to finish my shooting. It was an amazing afternoon and as well a lot of fun and I enjoyed the trip to a past time, that is totally new to me.

Nautical themed pin ups in a retro looking, vintage way always was something that I liked a lot.

When I unpacked the new “Michelle” outfit from Asteria, I immediately got the idea, to try something in that direction, even if the outfit looked modern and not very retro like on the first view.

The outfit contains shorts, a small, sporty looking belly free top and the great knitted pullover over the shoulders. The shorts have a cute detail at the backside. One side is kinda ripped with a hole right at the butt, while the bottom seams of the shorts, as well look like used and just cut with all the small frills hanging down loosely.

I tried to pull the whole outfit towards my retro idea and so I added some semi sheer tights from Izzie’s and the awesome over knee boots from [MODA]. With the stripes on the pullover and the stockings I already got the feeling of the whole look and wanted some of the amazing vintage looking sunglasses, which I found at Glamistry.

Usually the 50s are known for colorful tattoos, but iI never was a huge friend of those and so I took one of the newest releases from my favourite tattoo designer Julie Hastings. The “Allied” tattoo from White~widow is available at the Fetish Fair 2016 in black, red and white.

For the hair, I chose one of the newest EMO-tions hair called “Talon” the neat one-sided braid you will find at the actual round of Shiny Shabby. with the one side coming down in the front it did not interfere too much with the loose pullover sleeves over my shoulder ;).

Now usually the most hardest part.. finding a location which was stuck in my imagination… I wanted a harbour, not too crowded but not totally empty. I prefer mesh nowadays since it reacts so much more nice on windlights and as well looks way more up to date than buildings from 2008 I went to the destination guide of SL as they usually have nice locations there which are very photogenic. After some sim hopping I found the “West of the Rain” sim. When I landed, I immediately found myself standing at a harbour what seemed like coincidence I waited a few seconds to rez and when I looked around, I knew I was in the right place. The amazing ship right in the harbour, the other a little out and the wonderful little building caught my heart and I spent quite some times snapping way too many pics. Again I had a hard choice, to choose which ones should end up in the post. Every time I try to convince myself, that 2 to 3 pictures would be enough and still I end up with 5 to 8 *hides*

Yes, I have an addiction to mystic, dark things, especially for abandoned asylums at night. The imagination has no boundaries with those

This time I got the idea, when I saw the “Spook Show Mannequins” from Remarkable Oblivion. It was a gacha at an event, and when I saw them… I did instantly know.. I need those :p

I am not a huge gacha player but those I really wanted and since they were commons, I thought I could give it a try. Guess what… certainly if I do not play for the rares once.. I get some*facepalms*

But since they were nice as well it did not bother me too much *grins*. I am sure I can use them for another post as well.

As soon as I was at home, I unpacked them and put them down in a random way and just looked at them. After some time, they spoke to me and I got a basic idea about what I would love to do.

Most of you know I love antithetical scenarios and pictures. And when I looked at those Mannequins, I got the idea to combine them with some sexy and colorful lingerie

I decided to go with one of the newer releases from Asteria, the “Nika” lingerie. With the choice of different colors the deep red combined with some black accepts like the straps on the legs it was kinda a mix of different color sets

More and more the basic idea did grow in my head… Maybe you saw the Silent Hill movie… the idea I had when I unpacked them kinda was inspired by a scene of that movie. The one with the blind creepy nurses, which are attracted by the light and react on noises – they have no eyes, no face and kinda being anonymous. When I built my set with the new Mannequins I had this in mind the whole time :p .

The necklace I pulled out from another outfit of Asteria called “Capretto”. With the sharp edges and the funky shape it just was a perfect addition for jewelry in a dark and grungy way

The shoes I got from Empire. I wanted something boots like but not as solid as boots and the “Bottlebrush” heels from Empire were just what I was looking for. With a pump style for the foot part and amazing lines up till over the knee. Boots but no boots! *snickers*

The cool horns I found on Marketplace. Made by CerberusXing ([CX]) – originally for a gacha – those horns are awesome detailed and somewhat special and unique in the way they come down in the front.

Now to come back to my originally idea of the blind nurses, I needed something for my head/face to get the idea of a blind kinda anonymous look. First I remembered a hood from !!XX!!. It is quite old, and I only used the lower part, but for the idea it worked perfectly For the upper part I just put a simple blindfold.

Now just a coll set was missing. I stared at the Mannequins, which I just rezzed into my white studio. I remembered the movie scene and the abandoned asylum surgery room. To make sure, I just poked you tube about the nurse scenes of both movies :p

While I watched them, I thought of a gacha set from 22769, that just should be perfect. Now the difficult part… Since I did not recall the name of that set and an inventory of nearly 200K of items… go figure…

I tried several keywords and when I typed ‘Asylum’ something from 22769 showed up – BINGO!

The whole gacha set is called “Abandoned Asylum” [*facepalms*… I should have known that much…). It contains many different items, furniture and deco parts and even a full Asylum house is part of it as the mystical prize! I rezzed out a few things and played with them until everything fell together for the whole set

I had a lot of fun doing those pictures and the whole process of finding all parts I needed for my idea, just reminded me about  why I love blogging and making pictures so much… the fun and joy of being creative and use all kind of things even if they do not belong together on the first view

When you are going to blog about lingerie, maybe that is not the first idea that comes to your head *giggles*

But, I thought maybe it was about time to try something different. I always missed the mix and match of layers for the mesh clothing. It is really hard to wear parts of different outfits and designers with mesh clothing, if they are not made to be worn together. Mostly the sizes do not fit or something pokes through or what ever else does not work. When I put on the new “Cotton Candy” in black, with the amazing bra, waist corset, panties and garters, I just had the idea to experiment a little bit, since the whole lingerie set is a mesh body applier and would give me more freedom to mix and match with layers again PLUS I wanted to make a different post about one of the incredible lingerie sets from Blacklace

[sys] released the “TWISP” outfit for the Fetish Fair 2016. The outfit contains a strapped body suit that just covers the most important private parts and a great pair of fingerless gloves. With the minimalistic straps it was just perfect, to go with the “Cotton Candy” lingerie set.

Who says lingerie is just something for the bedroom? *winks*

With the combination of those 2 outfits, the look already became very energetic and strong and more and more the idea of a warrior type look grew in my head. At the actual TFC round Bauhaus Movement has an amazing headpiece called “YEAH! Fashion Headpiece” which looked just as it was made for my idea :p The huge head piece with the feather looking parts all around and the amazing head band where the right addition to my warrior idea.

For the tattoos, certainly I chose White Widow again, Julie really is a body artist and I am just addicted to her creations. That became even more when I found out her newest makeup is compatible with the Genesis Lab 2.0 heads! The new “Couture” makeup is such an amazing mask looking eye art!

That is a very funny story as well.. I was looking for a mesh head I like for over a year now. Some were ok, but I never had the “YES!” feeling on any of the heads I tried. In the end I got a Catwa head as that was the one I liked the most but it was more a compromise than a real “YES!” Don’t get me wrong, Catwa does great heads and with the many different ones, they really make a statement. Catwa might be one of the best choices as there are the most appliers for those heads out there at the moment. But to me they are all very beautiful and smooth and I wanted something more character looking.

When I did not even think about a head, I saw the name of a wonderful friend in the Genesis Lab chat. We started talking and after a while I told her that I was looking for a particular head of Genesis but since Genesis is very limited with appliers and skins and as well do the most heads as Gachas… I kinda trashed the idea even if I liked their heads a lot. I came out that Danity Minx has a lucky hand with Gachas and she got a lot of the rare heads out of those and as well a few doubles. She gave me a few as gifts – very generous gifts – and I started trying them and when I put on a certain head… I immediately fell in love. DAMN my love fell on a Genesis head… that was my first intention.

But I could not help it and so I try to work it as much as I can at the moment. I was told in the group, that the support is very slow to non existent and that many heads have issues and do not get updated. With the one I chose it seems I got lucky as only the lashes positioner is broken but you can get used to it, that it just works the other way round. Sadly non of the skins for Genesis comes with a no brow option, so I could not wear it as an everyday head anyways since one of my trademarks is exactly that. In PS I am able to remove them but not on the grid

So we will see how that will go in the future… I have a light at the end of the tunnel, since a wonderful and kind skin maker offered me he maybe could take care of that

Today, I again had one of those days where you have no clue what you gonna do. I was just sorting my inventory and tried things here and there.

The more I tried the more I realized it must be an earth tone mood, as all designs with the color I put on I liked :p

I started with the “Maika” top from [sys]. The long sleeves top with the amazing chains over the chest are so perfect for any kind of style.

The cute skirt I found in my inventory, comes from American Bazaar. What I loved most was the  mixture of the different brown/earth tones and then the layering of the leather and the amazing lace in the front. That kind of patchwork design makes it possible to either wear it for a medieval look or as well for post apocalyptic and fantasy styles.

The cool mask is made by Astralia, to me one of the best accessory designer ever with all the details she puts in her creations. The “Selveggia” mask with the huge horns is just so amazing and has so many details like the lines the pearls, the cover for the horns and it is even HUD driven so you can customize it to different looks.

Now I needed some boots for that cool top and the amazing skirt. since I am not a friend of long bare legs it had to be thigh high boots. My choice fell on the “Lido” boots from [sys]. The folds and wrinkles give them a light loose look, which was perfect for the look as body tight ones would not have looked that cool ;). With the neat zipper and the metal plate on the back of the feet, they just looked super cool.

For location shoots, lately more and more I like to go to roleplay sims, as usually they are created with so many sweet details and little corners that you can discover.. it is really fun exploring them and as well doing pictures there. This time I went to the Outbreaks sims. A post apocalyptic zombie roleplay. The have two sims going for RP but even the landing point up in the sky is amazing. so I decided to just use the landing point of the sims for my pictures.

Many role play sims allow snapping pictures as long as you do not disturb the RP or obtrude people who live there. Some offer photographer or observer tags and give you the rules of the locations. If you respect that, you rarely will have problems to make pictures on those amazing sims.

Today, again I have some lingerie. Lingerie is always something difficult for me as I do not want something boring, nor I wanna over do it especially, if it is such a delicate and filigree lingerie like the “Iris” set from Salt & Pepper at the WCF7.

The set contains bra, panties and a HUD with 6 color options. Matching to that you can get the “Iris” collar which as well has a HUD for 6 satin and 6 metal colors.

The lingerie set is a wonderful mesh ensemble made of satin and lace. Salt always amazes me with her ideas for designs as well as with her detailed outfits and meshes, not even to mention her insane texturing skills. The lingerie is so body tight… on the first view you would think, it is a body applier, but it is really mesh work ON the body!

The tattoo is – how could it be different – from White Widow. It is no secret. that Julie Hastings is one of my favourite… if not my absolute favourite tattoo creator.

If you ever tried to make applier clothing or – in the past – layer clothing, you probably realized that making something detailed for the SL body is not easy. You have to fight seams, you have to fight blurry moments especially on body parts that allow more curves, as you never know who the shape of the users will be. If you look at Julie’s tattoos under this perspective, you only can imagine how much skills and time she puts in her creations.

The amazing shoes I as well found at the WCF7. Phedora made the awesome “Coax” boots with the huge HUD of 25 trendy colors. The knee-high boots have a wonderful laced front and around the legs they are held with straps and buckles.

I loved the interoperation of the several lace parts on the shoes, the lingerie and as well on the tattoo with the fishnet looking parts, that as well gave the imagination of lace.

Like I mentioned at the beginning most of the items are available at the Whore Couture Fair 7 (WCF7). The variety of designs on that event are just amazing. I am sure that there is something for everyone at that event and I will have for sure some more from there in the near future

The Whore Couture Fair 7 is really worth a visit as you have so many different styles of sexy, seductive and even provocative from some of the best designers in SL.The fair is open until March the 31st so you still have time to take a look

I have no clue why but lately all the cyber and the vibrant colors to it, have an impact on me as never before.

Maybe it is the new hairstyles from EMO-tions that got me into it again, or as well the suspense between black and intensive deep hued, saturated colors.

Today – as I just said – the base of my styling was the amazing new hair from EMO-tions, which was available at the passed round of we ♥ RP, but it should be available in the EMO-tions main store by now.

I could not resist to make one picture with the newest feature from LeLutka for their bento heads. Finally we can stick out our tongues with LeLutka as well and even if I might not have that chance too often, I totally love it :p

LeLutka released a few more new expressions on the Skin Fair lately and they are so easy to install to your LeLutka Bento head, anyways which of them. You as well can keep them separate and use them vis the HUD that you get with the box as well. They are all cool and they are so different from really photogenic smiles to as well those few tongue out expressions, which I really got addicted to the past few days

The cool makeup is not a super new release but one of my personal faves when it comes to cool and extraordinary ones. The “Tammy” makeup with its unsymmetrical look just was perfect for that cyber punk look

The awesome dress I am wearing for this post comes from [sys], wich was released for the Tres Chic event. The “Ellea” dress is just really cool with the huge laced part t the top and the bottoms that look like upside down jacket lapels on the skirt. together with the “Jassy” boots and gloves as well with lots of lace, it just totally did it for me

To just add one accessory I decided to go with the “Joyce” necklace, that was created by Wicca’s Wardrobe for our collaboration with Enfant Terrible.

The super amazing tattoo comes from White Widow again and it is one of Julie’s newer ones.

For the scenery I used some of the awesome designs of E.V.E Studio. I love to make scenes with her creations as they always add some artsy feelings to all of the pictures. I totally love her surreal environments

I guess I go and find a place now where I can stick out my tongue to people a little more before I go to bed, as I enjoy this new feature way too  much at the moment :p

The styling today I made with some goodies of the WCF 2017. The fair is now over but I am sure, you will find all the creations and designs in the mainstores of the designers

Sometimes you plan on blogging something and then all of a sudden you RL comes in between and disturbs that plans.

But I loved the look too much to just trash it and go on with all the new stuffs

The outfit is a mix and match of several designers and as well of mesh designs and appliers.

The cool top, that mainly is made of chains with some cloth at the sides was made by [sys] as an exclusive for the WCF 2017. Since I wanted to cover up my private parts a little bit, I added the “Sexy Lingerie” from Cherie underneath the “Shane” top.

The hair as well was made as an exclusive to the WCF 2017 and it does  come from no.match. At the moment I have kinda a top 3 for hair designers and I could not say which one of those I love most , since they are all do different. No.match, EMO-tions and enVOGUE I use the most as I just simply love their ideas and textures the most. Certainly I have hair from all over as there are hairstyles I see and like instantly like DeLa, .shi or so many others but when I pull up my hair folder those 3 have the highest numbers for a reason

For the WCF 2017, no.match made 2 different version with a hat. one as a braid and one – the one I am using today – with open hair. One has the cap set on forward and the other one has it 180 degrees turned like the cool kids usually have it :p

The cool gloves were made by Real Evil Industries and I really love the details as well as the huge HUD that does let you customize so many parts to match your outfit.

The tattoo certainly comes from White Widow. I just love Julie’s tattoos and I rarely find good ones which do not get blurry or are way to colored or just uploaded RL tattoos. I do love the creativity and as well the painting skills that Julie brings to her tattoos and I am totally amazed that this creativity seems to be never ending

BENTO… the more I try.. the more I love :p

Certainly we have BENTO now for quite some time but the more I look into, I find more and more possibilities and options. I was resisting to get BENTO hands as I did not like the shape of most of them too much and always counted on Slink or Maitreya to come up with their bento hands and I was not disappointed

We even got both as free updates for the hands we already owned!

The waiting was worth it and paired with the BENTO enabled AOs and animations or poses, it already was a wonderful experience. But when I found a special hands animator to even modify exiting poses for pictures slightly… that finally got me!

I did not yet make up my mind if I wanna use mainly my Maitreya of my Slink hands, so I just change back and forth depending on the accessories I want to wear for each new look.

When I saw the “Hand Poser HUD” from FATE, I did know instantly – I want that! To have control not only using premade poses but being able to adjust poses to make them even better fit for certain purposes – PRICELESS!

I am still in love with my LeLutka Simone head and with all the new face expressions there is so much to play with Especially the tongue ones I enjoy a lot lately, but as well several photo emotions are available now for a real cool price. They are so easy to install with the injector, which even looks funny with the syringe that appears when you add the injector and load the emotions into your LeLutka head HUD.

With all my BENTO cheering, I do not want to forget about my todays style

It was one of the looks, I put together for one of my GizzA shifts. When I got the “Rodeo Shirt” and the “Grace” mini skirt, I immediately had the imagination of a modern ‘Cowgirl’ looking style.

Giz and Auster are amazing creative designers and over all the time they really became close and dear freinds to me Thank you Giz and Auster for all your trust and support!

With the amazing “Indio” boots from Reign –  which as well matched perfectly in colors – I already had the right touch . The suede fabric and the laces on the outsides just made the perfect look. For the necklace I decided to go with a wrapped whip – you never know when a cowgirl will need one :p

I really do love my jobs but I am always happy when it is Friday and I can escape from my during the week routine

As much fun and joy my RL work is as much I enjoy the silence on the weekends – I am one of the happy people who only work from Monday to Thursday (more than 10 hours a day) t have free on Friday (if I do not have gigs with my band).

And I really enjoy those 3 days of total freedom and laziness

Today I was in a little punky mood and the “Elemia” dress from [sys] was just the perfect item to start styling

Since I am not a huge fan of bare legs – especially if the weather is not cooperating – I added some ripped jeans under the dress.

The cool sneakers I found at the Shoetopia and when I wanted to go back and get them… it was closed! Thank god I had not to wait too long until I found them in the KC main store.

When I was looking for a location, I wanted something casual, but as much as I tried to find a nice casual city or street, I did not find any… I really miss the old Mayfair sim where they had built a wonderful city with some stores and all those nice corners where you could do cool pics. The whole sim was mainly in white and light tones and not that dark as all the ones I found when I was looking today. Are there none regular and modern/mesh built city sims for just some easy casual posts? Maybe I am just too blonde to find them :p

Anyways, for the pictures I finally went to Woodbury Falls, as I did remember a car mechanics building there which I saw fit for today’s style.

That I am a Tim Burton lover is not a secret. I love the movies and I as well love t he architecture and the clothing that is used in all of the movies. Anyways if Nightmare before Christmas, Corpse Bride or Beetlejuice ( and so many others certainly) – I am an addicted and saw them all more than once I love the dark humor and the way how Tim Burton expresses things in his movies.

When I saw the “Elvina” outfit from .AiShA., I instantly had a ‘Buronesque’ idea in mind.

The striped leggings immediately pulled the “Burton” trigger in me :p

When I was looking for some furniture for my set, I just typed ‘Burton’ in my inventory search and had a lot of things coming up, that I already forgot that I have them!

I played around with the “Inspired by Burton” set from 22769 and completed the set with a bookshelf from Toiz and some parts of the “Burton Tea Party” from Cheeky Pea. I liked the shelf with the books falling out so much for the whole scene

It was really hard to choose from all the snaps I had – I had so much fun playing with the set and all of my Poseidon poses
